Gutenberg Gala, Celebrating Canadian Print Excellence

More than 470 guests celebrated the excellence of print at this year’s Gutenberg Gala which was held at the beautiful Bonsecours Market Ballroom in Montreal. The Gutenberg Gala is the ultimate event for the print industry in Québec, Canada. It highlights the talent, creativity and know-how of its craftsmen. "This year, we have highlighted the youth of our industry who will ensure the sustainability for future generations. A succession formulated with the same dreams and passions as those of their predecessors. How proud we are to share innovation and to communicate the impact of print media with future generations.”, stated Lauréanne Houde-Blais, co-chair of Gutenberg 2019.

“The Committee works tirelessly to prepare each year’s Gutenberg Gala. We would like to offer a special congratulations to the Team at Imprimerie Sainte-Julie in Montreal, who took home the Award for Best Flexible Packaging for their La Coulée, Sparkling Maple Water packaging, that was printed on a Mark Andy P-Series Press.

The interest in the Competition and the Gala continues to grow, and we are very pleased with it!", added Stéphane Labrie, CSMOCGQ Training Coordinator and Jury Leader. On this wonderful Gala evening, 12 awards were presented to the proud winners.
